Social Integration Support and Employment of Marginalised Groups
Project Description:
Asylum seekers are a group the most at risk from poverty and social exclusion, and belong to the most vulnerable group of migrants. That is why the main goal of this project is to increase the employability of asylum seekers through language and cultural integration programs, individual mentoring, as well as skills training for simple occupations in the tourism and hospitality industry, where there is a worker shortage. All of the above will help them become more competitive on the job market, which will have a positive impact on their successful integration into Croatian society.

Main Goal:
Increasing the employability of asylum seekers with the aim of integrating them into the work force, as well as into Croatian society.
Specific goals:
1. Developing skilled knowledge of unemployed asylum seekers through adult education programs.
2. Strengthening and developing soft and transversal skills of unemployed asylum seekers through the development and implementation of the language and cultural integration programs, as well as offering individual mentoring and ensuring the support of an interpreter.
Expected results:
40 asylum seekers trained in shortage occupations in the tourism and hospitality industry, and their integration into Croatian society.

Implementation Period:: 18.10.2019.-18.10.2021 (24 months)
